9 years, outrageous.

Sometimes I wonder what would I have been doing if I hadn't cared what my friend was watching on his laptop that very day on 13th December 2005 as that site he was on would become my main source of entertainment for years to come.

See, when I discoved Newgrounds I quickley found that it was something far bigger than i realised.

It was a land of opportunity, a chance to make a name for yourself.

But even if you couldn't make good movies/ games, there were still lots of things you could do.

Level Up, Write reviews, Blam & Protect, watch flash tutorials, post on the NG BBS and so on.

So if it wasn't for Newgrounds I would have never spent most of my young adult life sitting in a chair, negleting my family and ignoring my responsibilities so thank you Tom Fulp, thank you.

Wow, I just recently joined Newgrounds, and when I happened upon your Sonic RPG series, it was fun and fantastic! The medals are fun to earn, and one of my favorites is ignoring the game's advice and attempting to tank the limit break.

lol, good post, the final part/epilogue where you talked about ''thanks to Ng i neglacted my family and friends, thank you newgrounds, thank you'', i was laughing for a good 2 minutes there!

thanks man! your newspost was nice, gentle and funny, i liked it alot.

i also had a similar experience in discovering newgrounds: i found it via lurking in various sites and stuff on 2001, and i then after wtaching some movies, i left and returned (again as a lurker) on 2003, a fatefull date on which i saw many good clock-crew movies, and i fell in love with the clock crew, and after 3 years of lurking, i -finally- joined newgrounds on 2006.

oh man, i love NG, its a great site and a great place to do artistic creations/and to have fun as well.
